Users who were on 5.50 beta were able to roll back their fw to 5.05. If Sony can do it in software, why can’t others (with the proper knowledge)?

I guess beta FWs aren't permanent since they don't 'burn' system eFuses. Stables FWs make the change permanent so that the CPU can't install any FW lower than what is burned inside.

I just realized I'm locked out from all my games unless I update. All my games are digital and I didn't activated my main PS4. I had my brothers' PS4 activated so I could share them all my games. Tch.

Yeah but until there is no CFW releqsed and as long as I don't update my firmware, I won't be able to play my PS4. Sucks haha.

Webkit Exploit works on 5.50, so They most likely did not patched it.
