Hacking 4gb transcend SD card

Any reader that supports sd standard can be updated (software or firmware) to support sdhc.
 
i always though that any sd card reader can be firmware or software updated to read sdhc.

you would think you can use a microsd card plugged into an standard sd adapter, but that doesn't work either
 
I just bought a 4 GB Kingston SDHC Card for DragonMedia Player, and with the USB-Adapter, it works. But it doesn't work with the SD-Card Slot in my Wii. And don't hope Nintendo will release an update to use SDHC-Cards...they won't...

I tried my 8gb microsd with a usb adapter on the wii and wad manger 1.2 was not able to read it.
