Hello, I recently updated my 2.2 system to 4.5 using a game cartridge. I understand that this does not update all of the apps. I would like to be able to do the mset exploit instead of having to go online in order to boot rxtools. However, my camera isn't updated with the QR button in order to properly scan the mset image.

If anyone could help me figure out how to update my camera so that I can do the mset exploit, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had one more question before I upgrade using sysupdater. When I download the firmware with 3DNUS, do I use "USA" or "U" as the version? I have seen both done. However, each of them gives me a different folder size. I'm not sure which one to use. Thanks!

USA: 138 MB (145,600,656 bytes)
U: 273 MB (286,449,424 bytes)

1. I'm currently using rxTools 2.6. Can it be found in that version, if so, where?

2. Does it matter at all if I unlinked my sysnand and emunand?

3. Would it be safer to just download the camera .cia through 3DNUS instead of updating the firmware?

1. In the rxTools menu

2. No, doesn't matter.

3. Dunno, but the browser need to be updated too.

@VerseHell I'm not seeing anything regarding devmode in my rxTools.

1. Is it "launch rxMode in SysNAND"? I am confused because I don't see a specific "devmode".

2. How do I double check I am in the correct mode once I load it, someone said to triple check above.

These are my options:

Launch rxMode in EmuNAND
LaunchrxMode in SysNAND
Decryption Options
Dumping options
injection options
other options
-downgrade mset on sysNAND
-install fbi over health and safety app
-restore original health and safety app
credits

Try it with the latest 3.0 beta from the rxTools thread.

So devmode seems to be missing from the 2.6 I got from https://github.com/roxas75/rxTools/releases. 3.0 gives me an error when I try to load it through the browser. However, 2.5.2 loads fine through the browser and I see the devmode option there.

1. How do I make sure that I successfully booted into devmode before installing the update?

2. How do I properly install sysupdate?
Do I:
1. open rxtools, install sysupdater.cia through FBI
2. shut down, go into devmode, then run sysupdater?

1.- You will be at your sysnand (No Firmlaunch present)
2.- It doesn't matter how to install sysupdater, you can make that any way that is available, it won't hurt.. The only important thing is when you start to update your system, there is when you need to be on Devmode yes or yes.
