Hardware 4.45 ofw pulled can it be hacked

4.45 update its not takeing down bye sony but lots of us has install it and ps3 are not working i was going update my ps3 from 4.41 to 4.45 but i was like i do it 2mro lucky i did but has any got the 4.45 ofw dat is f**Ked can it be hacked in a any way to work for 1 or to back ups ???

there is a bug in the FW making some PS3 die (form what i been reading , it has to to with the HDD being over 500gb)
this is NOT the 1st time something like this has happen

2.40 was also pulled as well when it came out

Don't know if I would say rare, just that a lot of consoles have been bricked from the update according to a few reports
