I've recently did a Factory Reset on my old Xperia SP, because I want to repurpose it as an OUYA. It had no problems whatsoever before the reset, but now, almost everything crashes. Some examples:
Code:
Apps that crash instantly when opened:
Apollo
Browser (AOSP)
Camera (AOSP)
CM File Manager

Apps with other problems:
Chrome: APKs downloaded with Chrome cannot be opened
Play Store: Crashes after it finishes installing any app (technically usable, but annoying)

etc.

Since you have CM file manager that means you are using a custom Android?

If that's true then reinstall the Android to see if that works

If not then idk

Have you tried updating/reinstalling the rom?

Ive only ever used the android sdk so i dont know to access it otherwise, but if you can access logcat it might give the reason for the crashes.

Xda is also a good place to ask about android problems.

If it would be a nexus device I could help you in seconds, since I am very familiar with nexus devices. Sadly I don't know much about the xperia devices. Just try to completely reflash your current android version
