Hacking 3in1+ with R4 -- Rumble woes...

I searched the net trying to finda way to use the rumble feature of 3in1+ with R4 -- it seems that the latest GBAExpLoader doesn't support rumble (for the 3in1+ with R4) -- is there a workaround for this?

Do I have to patch the ROM or is there another app or another way to get the rumble to work...

I have confirmed that the rumble patcher works with Metroid Prime Hunters Pinball and also the Lameboy Gameboy emulator. You can set the intensity of the rumble pack to low, medium, or high. I usually go with low because high is a bit overbearing.

I can confirm that it works for Mario & luigi: Partners in Time --

That rumble is pretty noisy! heh! I think I'd be embarassed to play a game with it on the train -- it sounds kind of cheap and odd...

BTW: Found this list of rumble games is anyone is interested...

I'm glad you were able to get the rom patched. Another method you could try out is using the YSMenu (see stickied YSAuto in this forum to install). YSMenu is a custom firmware for the R4 DS that adds some more functionality beyond the standard firmware. You can boot GBA games (provided you have a slot 2 expansion pack), enable cheats for certain games, enable rumble with different intensities, and much more. You can install it as a standalone firmware or as an NDS rom.
