Hello everyone! I have made a tool for getting A9LH/B9S easier! I made this for the fun of it and this is the first program I have ever made! It will be coming out tomorrow in the morning MST :3

Seems like it downloads the files needed to the correct location on the sd card but i wouldn't download it without source code

I commend you on your program, it looks nice for your first project so congrats.

I'd also like to say though that these types of programs are overdone around here. Since the early A9LH days people have been releasing these automatic setup programs and they ALWAYS become outdated or abandoned in less than a month; especially when they are just practice projects. If you really want to contribute to the community poke around the forums and see what kinds of things/features of other programs people might want and try to satisfy those?

I really don't understand Github at the moment I uploaded it to mega I would not try and rat or hack anyone.

Here's how to use github.
  1. Make an account so you have a username and password
  2. Install Git on your computer https://git-scm.com/downloads (don't need the GUI part)
  3. Create a new repository on github.com, give it a name, do not initialise with readme when it asks
  4. Remember the address to your repository (ending in .git), it should tell you on the initial welcome screen after creating the repo.
  5. Open the command line on your computer and type: cd "path to top level of project" and press Enter. For example, cd "C:/projects/3dhaxtool"
  6. Type: git init and press Enter
  7. Type: git add . and press Enter
  8. Type: git commit -m "initial commit" and press Enter
  9. Type: git add remote origin master then the address you remembered from step 4 (in Windows you can paste by right clicking on the black box and selecting paste, ctrl-V doesn't work) and press Enter
  10. Type: git push -u origin master and press Enter. Put in username and password when prompted.
  11. Refresh your repo on the website to see your code in there
Now when you make a change that's worth putting through, type: git add -A (or replace -A with the file path if you don't want to commit everything) and press Enter, then type git commit -m "add a descriptive message here about what changed" and press Enter, then type git push -u origin master and press Enter. Put in username and password when prompted.

It's great you put up the source code but it's easier to see what's going on when it is on github.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
