Hardware 3DS XL top screen problem

Hi Guys, just joined I am 69 live in the UK and have an interest in repairing consoles, the one I have at present has a chicken wire mesh effect on the top screen. any ideas how to fix it.

whats it like with the 3d on. seems to be a strange issue can always try reseating the flex cables and see if it persists.

at least repairs are fairly cheap and an lcd replacement for top screen is about £10

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
