Ok I bought the 3DS for gateway as it was suitable. I got it from ebay and everything worked then. Now this part may be a coincidence but it seems like it stopped charging after I installed gateway.
I have voltage from the charger (4.96V~). Removing the back cover to the battery I have voltage at the pins soldered to the board. At the battery connections with no battery inserted I only have like .9 volts. Is that normal?
