Hacking 3ds XL Nand

Ok, just correct me if this looks silly. I got a 4.5 3ds xl, and i've been using gateway for a while now. But there's this keys problem. I was wondering ...is it possible to solder something like a switch on my nand that i can put let's say a sdcard on one end and the NAND on the other, so i can boot from Nand or SDcard. So on the sd i put the 4.5 nand image, update to 7.X.X and can use the new keys. While i can still play backups on the Nand.

you could install the nand writing mod and upgrade and downgrade whenever you want........its not suggested you do it too often though(i.e every 5 mins) but for general usage it should be fine

Well guess the easiest way is buying another 3ds then... Well i'll leave this one as is and buy another whenever i can...
