Hardware 3DS XL Data 0 alternative point?

what happened is a friend of mine already tried to hardmod his 3ds xl. but i dont know what he did.. but to the point that pad on the data 0 has been lifted.. so the wires dont stick anymore. my question is could there be an alternative point. where i can still do nand restore??

ive seen a pic with data 3. can i use that instead?

no idea why dat3 is shown on there, you should only either use dat0 on itself, or dat0,1,2,3 all together

anyways, if the person doing the mod ruined a pad i dont think they should be trying this point, but here is a alt dat0 point, much smaller and if he messes up this one he can really mess up the 3DS

i would suggest he just sends it off to @hundshamer before it gets any more f00ked, as it stands it should still be recoverable

although pictures are a must once someone has already been "at it"

Whoa, interesting (a bit obvious, though). I wonder if it works for the regular model (same pin on RA2)
