Is safe to get a flashcart for my 3DS? I'm afraid of having a possibility to get my console banned, idk... Thanks in advice.
Yes. Nobody's gotten their 3DS banned/bricked because of a flashcart.

EDIT: :ninja: 'd

EDIT 2: 900!

Ok I have a question. I bought an R4i Gold 3ds and from where I bought it they specify the card is compatible with 3.0.0-6. However I also bought Kid Icarus today and tho I havent played it yet, I suspect it has 3.0.0-6 on it and my 3DS is on 2.2.0-4U. Is there a way to know if my card is really compatible with 3.0.0-6??

Does it show a Japanese Spongebob icon? If so, it will work with 3.0.0-6.

Also, can you please let us know what firmware version Kid Icarus tries to update to? Thanks!

Ok, I tried the game and as I thought, it required an update. I updated and it took me to 3.0.0-4U. My card is working perfectly on that firmware. So I guess no game has the 3.0.0-6 update yet.

Sorry for the dumb question, but I haven't been up to date with the scene since I bought my flashcart for my regular DS. I hop you can clarify this for me:
Are the new flashcarts able to play 3DS roms or are they just compatible with the 3DS as far as DS games are concerned? I thought about buying a 3DS if someone can make sure to me that I can get the games for free ;P

Also, is there Wood firmware for it, or something similar? Wood always has been very reliable.

Just saw this: http://gbatemp.net/topic/297281-nothing-plays-3ds-roms-3ds-still-not-hacked/
I suppose that answers it. Too bad. Sorry, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, I just was in a hurry.

It seems a lot of people favor the DSTWO. Are any of the cheaper options (ak2i, ezflash vi, etc) recommended?

I strongly recommend the Acekard 2i if you don't want to shell out the money for a DSTWO.

Dunno if anyone noticed, but Crown3DS has updated their progress to 72%, after months of being stuck at 70...
Who knows, maybe there's still hope. :)

Alright, I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I want to make sure on this (plus the question is partially opinion).

My 3DS is currently at firmware v3.0.0.6. What generally considered to be the "best" flashcard that works properly? Also, go any of the flashcards that work also play GBA roms in addition to the standard DS roms?

Thanks for putting up with my stupidity.

DSTwo for GBA stuff, but it's not perfect. You cannot get native GBA on a 3DS, it lacks GBA hardware so emulation is your bet, but emulation only runs in DS-mode specs without the 3DS's additional power.

For DS stuff get a flash cart, for emulation of systems like the GBA/SNES, get another device entirely like a PSP.

I do have a PSP for that exact purpose actually, I'm asking about this for those times where I only want to carry one or the other but still want the option.

Thanks for the quick responce and helpful link.

One last question actually. What's a secure and reliable site to order a DSTwo from?

I couldn't find anything about Ace3DS here, it's the cheapest card and I'm planning to buy it. Is there any reasons to not buy ace3DS?

One major one being it hasn't proven itself as one of the reliable carts. There's tons of flash carts out there and the majority suck.

If you buy it and it doesn't work properly after an update or with some later games, you'll likely just get told to buy one that's proven to actually stay updated (a large amount of carts don't).

I guess I will give it a shot. All reviews are positive, it is working, it is updated regularly. And I would be enough if it would work 3 months. There are just a few games which I want to try but can't find to buy in my country.

i buy
R4i Gold Plus Economic pack from R4I-DSI-CARDS.CO.UK 。
They also presented two stylus .Can you give me some suggestions?
