On second thought I had some coins on Club Nintendo so I ordered a red reversible pouch for my 3DS. Free case FTW!

Where is that reward, or ANY 3DS reward on Club Nintendo? I'm wanting to get one this way, but either I'm blind, or..... Yea, I'm blind I guess, I don't see it anywhere on Club Nintendo.

It's a new item it shows up at the main page or at the top of the rewards, but here's the link: https://club.nintendo.com/rewards-category-...ails/a/18504.do

They're not made just for the 3DS, and I'm contemplating getting one myself, but they seem like they might be bigger than necessary to hold just a DS system. Guess it has to be to fit the original DS.

I get so confused by people needing a more scratch resistant screen... My original DS (phat) and DSi don't have a scratch on them and I'm an avid Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents player... Having beaten all 3 on the hardest settings and being none to gentle on some of the harder levels when I went raging (especially on the spinney circles)

What the hell do you people do to your DSes that would require you install bullet proof glass into your system?

I did bad things to my original DS when playing Wario Ware Touched. It was one of the first games I got for the system and one of the most touch screen intensive.
Still, I only have a couple of scratches that are visible when the system is actually turned on.

I know my stylus had something wrong with the tip and actually scraped across my screen putting a HUGE gash into my... screen protector. I've examined the tip and couldn't find anything wrong, but still it scraped it up good so even if you are the most careful anything can happen. I'm not too worried about the top screen, but I'm definitely going to be putting something on the bottom one.

I'm just curious, is the black faceplate around the top screen made of the same plastic as the screen? I'm debating whether I need just a protector for the top screen or the entire top half.

It's the same, yes. That's why I ordered screen protector for the entire top half.

Nah you got the screen and you got the whole plate covering the whole top of it, so in a way it's protecting the top LCD. Of course you'd still wanna protect it from scratches.

U jelly?

Yes it's folded in half and looks very very neat in person, I recommend! That little sewn on 8-bit Mario is adorable too
