3dstool
3ds tool is an user friendly all-in-one tool for the 3DS. I decided to make it because there isn't one, and I wanted to learn coding.

archieved:
- it checks if it needs to be updated, and it update after you agreed (on itself)
- added some main functions
- already solved a lot of bugs
- updates and installs flashcards

to do:
- add save operations 50%
- add hotkeys 0%
- add video operations 90%
- add flashcard operations 0%
- add graphics inprovement 0%
- add profiles 0%

any comments tips, tricks, complaints, bugs and more you can leave in this topic ;)
note:

note: This is my first application created with c# (actually, this is my first application ever,
i didn;t have any experience with any programming language). I think i did pretty wel with the things i have archieved yet.

Looks nice but you should work on translating a bit better or get someone to do that part to make it look more professional

Interesting, but it could be improved.

  • The installer looks very unprofessional
  • The UI isn't very clean and user-friendly.
  • I don't want to be too harsh, but fix your spelling and grammar ;)

Doesn't look promising.
And the way it installs is very suspicious.

look for 3dsexplorer and r4isavemore, all open source
That is a better way, because **** this thing it does not even want to work, it says it not a valed win 32 app, you know what srew this crap it sucks!!!!!!!

No offence.

r4isavemore and 3dsexplorer are indeed open source, but they aren't easy to use for the most people....

There are still many bugs in your application.
Under "Flashcard operations":
You can leave the boxes blank, klick check and it says that the flashcard can run on 4.4.0-10.
When you select a "SD Drive" without SD card, enter a old firmware (i.e. 1.0) and a old EOS (i.e. 1.0), click check, tick the box and klick update and klick ok, it'll display a error message.
If you select SuperCard DSONEi, enter at Firmware and EOS "1.0" and klick check, it'll say
"this flashcard can run on 3ds firmware: 4.4.0-10
firmware update available
EOS update available"

/edit
when you enter a larger number than the latest update at C:\3dstool\data\version.txt, it'll display outdated!, please update.

So, what EXACTLY does this do? Does it make other flashcards that don't usually work on the 3DS work now or what...?

yet it converts videos for the 3DS, backup and restores saves to a 3DS card and update flashcards (which are of course compatible with the newest firmware)
His file is either corrupted or you compiled the tool for x64. Compile it for x86 or both, or people with 32-bit Windows won't be able to use it.
no, I messaged him and he tried to install it on a public library computer(which he cant because installation of programs is blocked)

The program has potential, but one thing that irks me is your form layouts. The fonts and colors don't really look professional. As well, there are a lot of spelling errors, although I can presume English isn't your first language. Other than those few things, the program looks like it can do a lot, and I wish you the best of luck.

Well in that case... you should make the error messages less misleading.
