I think they should allow you to listen to your music via the 3ds sound application while browsing the net or playing games. i think the system could handle it. what do you guys think?

At the moment only the XBox and the XBox 360 have this function, and I really like that function. It would be wonderful if they would add this function, or maybe even let you play music over the game.
But I don't think this is going to happen. Don't ask me why, I just think so.

Bro, the iDevices are way more powerful then the 3DS.
I believe he is referring to the first gen ones since they can as well. I think nintendo could do it if they wanted but i dought they ever will sadly :/

It depends on the iDevice. iPhones are more powerful because they are phones (calls, sms, mms, bluetooth, etc.)

The hook nintendo made with the 3ds is that its pro at multitasking. you are able to jump out of game to look up guides, take game notes and more. i feel its possible but knowing nintendo it probably won't happen.

I thought the hook Nintendo had for the 3DS was the 3D?

You have no idea how much I've wanted/thought of this idea for a long time

I thought the wii had the option in a couple of games (excitetruck or something). I tend to pass audio through my PC on the way to the speakers anyhow so I can always have my own even if the game does not care for it.

Anyhow if the 3ds is as they say and kicks one of the cores to boring stuff I can see that decoding some audio on the fly.

Wonder if I could power one of those tiny micro players ( http://hackaday.com/2011/03/05/micro-audio...-postage-stamp/ ) from somewhere inside the 3ds......
