Hacking 3ds sd card with wii u?

Can i use my sd card that i've been using with my 3ds to load homebrew/loadiine on my wii u? Or does it always have to be formatted just for wii u? the sd card is 32 gb, and that's the only sd card i have that has enoguh space for xenoblade x.

You can use it, just make sure it's FAT32.

The SD is already formated to Fat32.It's safe to use.
