Hello everyone!
I´m looking for a save game of Bravely Default with a decente quantity of citizens in the beginning for firm 2.0 (3.3b of 3dsLink)
Thanks in advance!

Just a quick question, are the saves on firmware 2.0b1 compatible with 2.0b2?
And does anyone have any clue if it also will be compatible with the upcoming version, are they planning to store saves in EmuNAND..Or..?

Hello everyone!

Thanks in advance!

Check here : http://filetrip.net/3ds-downloads/game-saves/
There's a save file with 131 citizens, at the start of the game (30min after beginning).
read the savegame detail on filetrip to know more about it.

for information, 3.3b is not base on Gateway 2.0, but on Gateway 1.2.

3DSLink & R4i & Orange-> Gateway
2.0 -> 1.2
3.0 -> 2.0b1
3.1 -> 2.0b2
3.2 -> 2.0b2 with fixed savegame issue
3.3 -> 2.0b1
3.3b -> 1.2

The save on filetrip is not working with GW1.2/r4-Link 2.0?
saves should work on all versions. If not, use GW2.0b1 or R4/Link3.0

Thanks Cyan!
I´ve been trying to make it work without success with my 3DS link 3.3b (1.2)
I followed the tutorial booting another game in between and turning the console off, but each time I start Bravely default it overwrites the save creating a new one.
Maybe I have to reach a saving point in the other game before exiting? I´ll try that later

pretty sure 3.3 was also based on b2, as well afaik, if it works with 7.x emunand its based on b2

b1 works with EmuNAND 7.0, but you don't have access to settings and region free.
If 3.3 lets you go into settings, then it's based on b2, but users reported that 3.3 had the same issues than b1 (region free not working on 4.1.x, save issue, strip line, etc.)

Moquedami: just use 3.0 (which is based on 2.0b1). It often freeze when entering GW mode, and you can lose your save data (some users don't have this issue). make a lot of backups of your savegame file and you will be fine. Before playing for too long, exit the game right after starting it to see if saving works fine. If it works, it will always work on this "session" (until you exit GW mode). If it doesn't work, put your SD card on PC and restore your latest savegame backup again.

Be sure to have a Nand.bin backup too, just in case.

I don´t know why but I can´t make the Bravely Deafult save work.
Maybe is because I´m using firm 1.2 in my flashcart?

Same thing here bro , 2.0 and it doesn't work..... can anyone tell if it's incompatible because of the firmware ( not gonna put 3.0 yet..)

K I didn't read cyan , so is there any way to convert it to a 2.0 save??

I'm having the same problem Moquedami and masterzero are having (I'm also on 2.0).
Seems like 3.0 is a lot of trouble, and I'd like to stay with 2.0 for the time being.
Any way to do so?

going from 2.0 to 3.0 (1.2 to 2.0b1) worked fine for me, but it wasn't a new game.
Maybe the game itself is causing this issue? Bravely default is asking for the new savegame encrypted method, so maybe only games with this method are not compatible between 2.0 and 3.0.

or maybe GW keys changed for the save too (it did for the Launcher.dat), and saves can only work on newer software version, not going backward.
I don't know if the save is encrypted with the same key than Launcher.dat.
Someone with openSSL can test it.

// GW 1.0, 1.1, 1.2
unsigned char cKey1[] = "\x58\x00\x06\x19\x28\x00\xC5\xF0\xFB\xFB\x04\xE0\x6A\x68\x20\x88";
// GW 2.0b1, 2.0b2
unsigned char cKey2[] = "\x11\x66\xD4\x0C\xCD\xC9\xBD\x6A\xE2\xF3\x8E\x8A\x0D\x4F\xE1\x28";
unsigned char iVec[] = "\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00";

Decrypt GW2.0:
openssl enc -aes-128-cbc -d -K 1166D40CCDC9BD6AE2F38E8A0D4FE128 -iv 00000000000000000000000000000000 -in 00040000000FC600.sav -out bravely.bin

Encrypt GW1.2:
openssl enc -aes-128-cbc -K 580006192800C5F0FBFB04E06A682088 -iv 00000000000000000000000000000000 -in bravely.bin -out 00040000000FC600.sav

thing is , there hasn't been a report of brick on 3.0 or 2.0b1 but I'm still not sure of putting 3.0 and playing right now with it..

I know 3dslink/r4 must be playing safe by saying not to use it and many people must be using it.. but dunno (in a mail they told me they got a report of 3.0 brick lol..)

There were brick report long before the clone wars.
Console bricked, but it wasn't the "NAND lock" brick. writing a NAND backup using the simple NAND flasher was enough to restore it.
Maybe the 3.0 report is one of those random, non "nand lock" brick? we don't know.

Playing safe is always advised, we don't know how long you need to wait to see if there's a backdoor in b1.
We are currently telling users what to do based on the current majority of reports.

Let's go back to savegame request and sharing discussion :)

Make sure you haven't recently played the game of the save you are trying to use. Load a different game THEN copy the bravely default save over and load bravely.

Would anyone be able to upload a completed save file for either version of Inazuma Eleven Go 2: Chrono Stone? I'd like to be able to listen to the music in the game's extra menu without having to complete it.
Thanks!

Ok. In this case I'd like to ask if anyone could share a save file for Bravely Default PAL, at the beginning of the game and with a reasonable number of villagers. But (here's the catch) it has to come from someone who played the game with r4i v.2.0 (or other flashcards' equivalent).

You don't have homepass?
if anyone have homepass already setup and working, it would be great to create and share that bravely default save for R4 v2.0 / GW v1.2 users.

I don't, I'm scared by the possibility that my 3ds could inadvertently update (making me throw away my r4i)...
