There is a vulnerability in checking/parsing the proxy URL.
How do you enter a "corrupted" string? Not with the on-screen keyboard. You load an app from HB Launcher that writes the modified string.

could you not connect to a wifi with a corrupted proxy? and then click manual proxy settings?
