ROM Hack 3DS no longer plays DS games

I tried my first installation of luma. It worked but I didn't like it so i deleted those files and tried to factory reset my 3ds. Now it will only play 3ds games and when I try to play a ds game the icon shows up in the home screen but when i launch it the screen goes black and nothing loads. Any idea on what I need to do?

What files did you exactly deleted? What happen when you open the "Download Play" app and then push on the "Nintendo DS" button? Those DS game icons are perharps related with forwarders?
