(3DS) Monster Hunter 3G site opens

Without the cradle, then the controls will simply be the same as the PSP. Totally playable. Hopefully the cradle wont be chunky and the shoulder buttons being hard to press on, or else i ditch the cradle.

@Devante: 10 kelbi horns.... Never did that lol. Played monster hunter for the first time on my Wii which was Tri. First monster was a online solo run great jaggi. Easily soloed(Time consuming though as i had problems getting used to that stupid wii controller). I find monster hunter to be quite easy on single player and moderate on multiplayer until you hit high-rank monster where going solo is hard and being together with 3 others make it about average. Call it natural gaming skills lol. The closest one that i could think of that was similiar that i played before Monster Hunter was Phantasy Star on PS2. Though i found the movement to be insanly stiff compared to MH

EDIT: fail double post.. forgot i wrote something...

Yeah, the attacking and certain strikes are pretty tough with the Wiimote and Nunchuck at first, but that's solely what I use.

Since you've not seen Nano Assault:

Tekken 3D is a fighting game yes with non-open environments, though i give them props for it looking amazing AND running at 60fps even in 3D mode (along with Mario Kart). Capcom is indeed the major player in terms of visuals, not denying that. But they're not the absolute only ones that can produce nice graphics, which is what i was referring to. I also forgot Beyond the Labyrinth, it's very nice looking as well.

Konami really fucked up with MGS3D, especially after it was supposed to be a full on remake. It looks and and plays noticeably worse than the PS2 version. The textures are lower resolution for one thing (ridiculous, the 3DS has faster and more memory than PS2, and the game is on a 4GB cart). Character models have fewer polygons and environments are somewhat less detailed in the background. Even lighting (which 3DS excels at) is worse. And to top it all off, the game has severe unstable framerate drops even in 2D mode. It's just a poor port, they apparently just decided to outsource it to their lazy department when they decided to make the HD collection. It's the sort of lazy i expect from a developer like Ubisoft or TOSE, not Konami (maybe they outsourced it to one of them lol). One hopes that the delay until next year is to clean the mess up. Though i'm not holding my breath.

I don't know what it is about Capcom that other developers don't seem to be capable of. Laziness for sure i guess. Anyways, sorry for getting off topic here.
I really felt like giving Konami more time, but it seems that they don't deserve it. Every new event, every time they display MGS 3D, it's still the same, crappy framerate.

Capcom, I admit, is pushing the 3DS to it's... er... breaking point. My friend who only has a DS as a Nintendo product after looking at SSFIV 3D told me, "wow! The graphics are really good!" Its only a launch title! Biohazard (I know it's RE) may have it's flaws as well (glitchy characters) but hey, graphics and game mechanics are still darn solid.

I really hope MH gets localized, because it really looks like the game I want and the game to get.
