Gamecube CPU is out-of-order too. In fact it's same core, but 3 of them + large cache. Same paired singles but not altivec.

To my knowledge, NeoGeo is an insanely complex platform to emulate with very advanced 2D hardware - I'd sooner expect a PSX emulator than a NeoGeo one, but I have been out of the loop for some time so I may be wrong.

Rubbish, NeoGeo is not insanely complicated and can be emulated smoothly on hardware far less accomplished than PSX emulating hardware.

Sure it was super advanced for it's time at release....in 1990 odd or whenever it was....

It's a port, no hardware is being emulated so not relevant.

How odd, I was pretty sure emulation was inaccurate even today, especially considering the fact that the 1GHz MIPS-powered Neo Geo X has issues with it even today (audio issues, screen tearing). I suppose it depends on your standards. What I meant by complexity was the architecture of the system itself (which is pretty darn complex) which has to be emulated - the PS1 had a far more straight-forward build.

If this ridiculous thread that has veered extremely off topic must continue to be bumped, could a moderator PLEASE alter the idiotic topic title?

EDIT Just to be on the off-topic bologna: Oh my lord the Neo-Geo is incredibly well emulated for Christ's sake. I've been emulating Neo-Geo PERFECTLY, PERFECTLY, on the xbox 1, the PSP, LET ALONE a pc. The Neo-Geo X is a piece of garbage.
