I don't get that. 10.3 n3DS running Ironhax with mashers HBL
I am using the latest nightly build, have the gba bios as a precaution, running 10.3 n3ds on ironhax. Yet when ever I get up to the last step before May, the game flashes all sorts of Colors, inverted colors, and then just freezes. Could it be a bad rom? All my other games work fine

Bad ROM.

why does mGBA no longer filter out incompatible files?
in more recent versions i have to dig through a lot of txt, sav, and ram files to get to games, while i used to only see games and folders.

I'm just returning to my 3DS, and I have Gateway: how do I use this? Is there any tutorial? Do I need anything besides Gateway?
Thanks

regular builds are tested, but aren't updated very often.
nightly builds receive updates almost every day, but aren't tested before "release".

Playing Pokemon Emerald is very smooth, but:
1. Sounds screws up, only music becomes normal after some time playing
2. When saving the game in Pokemon Emerald, the FPS go down very much, as well as the sound becomes completely glitchy and choppy.

But it's an alpha, so, it's just great.

o3ds or n3ds? :)

So I was using a nightly build, from this page: http://mgba.io/nightlies.html

It was a build from 5-6 days ago. I'm on a new 3DS with emunand. Every now and then, the sound will garble up then return to normal. Is this a result of a nightly?
I get 60 FPS, but that sound issue can be pretty terrible.

GPSP on the other hand works flawless, but the app itself will randomly crash and shutdown my 3DS.

I'm guessing this doesn't support sleep? When I close the lid I have to hard power off to get things back up again.

Ok, the emulation is near perfect, the audio is a mess for now, man I can´t wait until this gets a official release.

O3DS with sysnand 9.2.0-20U and emunand 10.7.0-32U, I have the CIA version (I believe of the stable, but I don't have my 3ds on hand to verify) installed; what sort of performance should I expect from Pokemon Emerald?

You should use VC injection. It's better and fully playable.

Once mGBA has dyna rec, vc injection will be pointless, as everything will run full speed, but with save states, filters, cheats, and gba accessory support (WarioWare Twisted works on mGBA).

I'm going to look into VC injection for the time being (instant gratification and all that), since I do eventually want to branch out into injecting hacks.
