Hardware 3ds making strange sounds

Why does my 3ds make strange electric sounds just when the red led for the charger turns off (3ds is done charguing)?

Are you using a third-party charger? I had one that buzzed ever so slightly while plugged in.

No, is the original but the cord is kind of off so it has tape but it chargues properly, then after finishing is when the sound starts.

Then it's probably because the cord's a bit damaged. I don't know enough about electronics to tell you why it only buzzes after it's done charging, though.

See if a different (known to be good) AC charger helps. Charging with excessive noise or buzzing might be a sign of faulty or bad charger.
