Hacking Gaming Hardware 3DS keeps turning off randomly whilst playing games

Basically, I can be in the middle of playing a game and it turns off, even when plugged in. When I turn back on, my time resets to 1/1/2011 00:00 and Luma3DS asks me to save settings again (sometimes happens, other times the time doesn't reset and Luma doesn't ask for anything).

Why is this happening? My battery is fine (still lasts 2 hours), and besides it's plugged in.

This has been happening for about 3 months at this point. The games I've experienced this with so far is Animal Crossing New Leaf and Tomodachi Life, and neither have any sort of cheats or mods enabled.

Nope. It seems to have gone for me though right now, haven't had it in a few weeks.

probably ur cmos battery and 3ds battery not good connectiong.

I was wondering about a CMOS potentially causing issues, but I don't think it is that, I don't think it would cause that to happen.

I have to assume it's more to do with the battery connection.
