Second, this type of topic doesn't belong in this section, the one I linked above is right.
About your doubts, as far as I know you won't be banned for using CIAs (even those non-legit installed in emuNAND), and you can't brick your console using a game CIA, especially legit ones, since they install on the SD card.
You have risk of bricking if you try to install a system CIA or redirect the CIA to install in the NAND while using FBI.
