Hardware 3ds help?

I bought a 3ds off craigslist. I was dumb and didn't make sure it worked. It urned on but when you are going through set up when you are doing the 3d screen check and click next it tells you to move the depth slider all the way up. Am I out of luck?

I am not sure I see the problem here. What about moving the slider all the way up?

Its stuck on the screen where it asks me to move the slider all the way up I click next and it says make sure the depth slider is all the way up which it is.

Try moving the slider all the way down and then all the way up again. You can also press the cancel button if there is any, as long as the 3D works there is nothing to worry about.

Tried moving the slider, tried clicking next, it will not move forward no matter what I do.

Here is the message I get whn I click next
"move the 3d depth slider, located to the right of the upper screen, all the way up."

The issue is when I click cancel it just returns me to the screen that says 3d screen check and I can not move on.

Try turning it off then powering it on again?
