I'd like to think that, but 3Dbrew updates are typically anything to map out how the 3DS functions, and better understand the processes. The calm before the storm?
Hey, I can dream can't I?
Rumours, nothing more. Just wait for an official information from the people who actually did something, not some random nobody. Heck, I could say on some obscure website that the game used to "break" the 3DS is Sonic Generations, and some people would believe it anyway, despite the lack of proofs.Sources have been saying that the game is "Raving Rabbids travel in time 3D". Anyone know if this is real? I think fake hough
Best to just leave them alone. The last thing they need is a bunch of idiots constantly contacting them with the same stupid questions over and over. How does one talk to yellows and neimod on irc?
The system is already exploited, but nothing has been released. Will this exploit soon? If so does that sound like a year?
or they simply also have a personal life and they dont wanted to work on it with christmas and new years etc.....I'd like to think that, but 3Dbrew updates are typically anything to map out how the 3DS functions, and better understand the processes.
IF they gonna release it, they never said they wouldThe system is already exploited, but nothing has been released.
There is no telling when this exploit may be released though, could be under a month, could be much later.

Flashcards existed for the DS since, what ? 2008-2009 ? Didn't keep the developers from making amazing games for that console anyway. Same for the Wii, still good games (not as much as the DS but I blame the controller for that). The console being hacked doesn't always mean its death. See the PSP for that, the CWF exploit (I believe that's the name right ? Don't actually own a PSP) made the console successful.I've been pretty quiet on this so far, I guess I was hoping peoples brains would spark a thought, but it isn't happening.
We are all super excited over all the great, free games we will "soon" be playing on our 3DS'.
What great NEW games will we be playing when developers leave the system cold over this?
I think (at the moment) that you'll need a way to copy a save file onto a cartridge game (e.g. NSMB.2). Maybe you have to copy some files that belong to the hack to the SD card and you can copy the applications you want to use at the SD Card (at least homebrew). But you have to avoid firmware updates aso.I was hoping for something like that since i've finally been getting the itch to own a 3ds after my DSlite which i love so much. My question is will it be as simple as the DS : use your cpu to copy paste on a card that you then put in the console, or, since the 3ds looks much more complicated with it's online shop and firmware (?) updates etc..., will it be super complex for the plain user? well, i guess nobody knows but what do you think? I for one have just started my research on how a non-hacked 3ds works and it's a lil scary with the region locks and eshop etc...
Such ways include using an R4i Save Dongle or similar hardware to get read/write a 3DS/DS cartridge's save data, or using a homebrew enabled DS Lite, to use a homebrew application such as DSaveManager to do the same thing.I think (at the moment) that you'll need a way to copy a save file onto a cartridge game (e.g. NSMB.2). I'm sure somebody will get around to it.oh boy i'm hoping for tutorials with pictures now lol
I'm sure somebody will get around to it.
But I'm pretty sure using something like the R4i Save Dongle if you get one, is as easy as inserting a gamecard into the dongle, plugging the USB dongle into a PC running Windows, and then using the PC tool to upload the gamesave.
It's DSaveManager that will probably need a guide a bit more, I think you will at least need a wireless router to use that tool.
I may end up being one of the earliest people to try hacking their 3DS systems as it is, so I'd be willing to pitch in some info.Once the hack releases, I'll put up a thread.
Well, if no one else does.
Tutorial, introduction pictures. It's sad that the wii hacking threads don't give a introduction to what the software or what ever it is.
I'll need some help though.
Lol, yellow8 told me it's hard to work with everyone PM'ing him. Makes sense since our convo alone had at least 1000 words. AT LEAST. lol

I've got my old launch 3DS waiting to be exploited, though I probably do not intend to modify my 3DS XL as I DO use that online and want to keep eShop and wireless access.
Well, I'm sure it is.
It's not like he's going to let just anybody who PMs him be a potential tester.
