I've noticed it on multiple 3ds, two I own and the instore demo unit, seems to randomly crop up, like someone else said mostly if theres high color contrast

I get some ghosting, but that's in Rayman 3D.
Pretty sure in my case it's the game and not the console or my eyes.
Thank you for letting me know I'm not crazy. Rayman 3D is the only game of my six that has ghosting issues that can't be solved. I know it's not my eyes, or the 3D depth because the ghosting turns on and off like a switch. It seems to be the worst during cutscenes for me.

i get ghosting in ridge racer max 3d setting. I can easily tell on the car selection model screen. do you guys get them here too? also in races when i make turns ghosting happens and sometimes the name icons of cars have major ghosting.

for SSFIV on the character selection screen. I get ghosting for the "C" in the word "character selection" lol. anyone see this too?

It's weird, when i played ridge racer at the pre launch events, i had no ghosting, but on my own copy it happens during the turnings like you mentioned, the car and the name icon too :/

I have noticed this when I'm tired.

At first I thought the screen was screwed up.

Has anyone else noticed some ghosting. i think it begins to show up once my eyes get tired, but i want to know who else has experienced it. My eyes aren't VERy tired. If i were to rate it on a scale of 1-10 i'd say 2.
I have when in 3d, even when i'm looking at the screen dead on. (Pilotwings)
I do too in Pilotwings but only in stuff like ballons or information points

Ghosting on 3D, I don't know.

But ghosting on DS games, I'd say less than DSi, which is a good thing.

I tried MKDS through download play on both my DSi and my 3DS, and I'd say fast movements from left to right look more defined on the 3DS. As in, you can actually see what's going on there.

What? You know that the 3DS can't play DS game with 3D... And DS games are no different on a 3DS from a regular ds

If you let your eyes relax at all, ghosting happens. I've noticed it mostly when I'm playing in darker areas, but I don't get it often because I'm mostly alert.

If you have to focus the entire time to see the 3d you probably have the 3d setting too high. Try playing games with the slide at half or a little less than half... May be less of a 3d effect, but it should remove the need for constantly focusing (may help if you have any headaches over time too).
That isn't the exact case. Adjusting the slider only adjusts the focal point. I find that allows me to hold the system on my lap or something farther than in front of my face. Off is the only setting making it less 3D.

lolwot?

The whole point of the slider is to allow the 3D experience for everyone, people who can handle alt of 3d or a lighter version, or no 3D what so ever. It's made to increase or decrease the 30, not adjust the distance at which you want to play the game /facepalm

The SCIENCE is that the slider slides the paralax closer and further.
So her distance theory is supported.

The slider sends a signal to the software to tell it to render the second image a different distance from the first.
That's why it does nothing when using camera based 3D apps like Face Raiders and AR Games. The images from the cameras have a fixed offset as determined by their position on the lid of the 3DS.
With the slider all the way up, the two images are rendered with maximum offset, giving a very deep 3D effect.
As you bring the slider down the offset is reduced until the two images are hardly different from each other at all, giving a very shallow 3D effect.
This has no effect on the angle or distance that the screen should be viewed from.

Ghosting appears for me when an object is in front of a dark background... but i dont find it disturbing, its the same with any 3d movie....
