Hacking 3DS Gateway questions

so tomorrow Im buying a 3DS from a guy who has it on 4.5 and 2 games, great condition

eventually ill be buying a gateway and installing the latest firmware on the cart

couple questions

is there a step by step guide somewhere inolving flashing the cart with latest firmware
hacking the 3DS with the gateway card
dumping emunand and updating that firmware

Everything you need will be made clear to you when you download the GW files. There's a PDF with instructions and the GW site has instructions regarding emunand.

Try to to get ahead of yourself.

It's really simple just download the manual on their website.

Also make sure to never update past 4.5 on your real firwmare.
