I just got the New 3DS XL and i'm impressed with the 3D effects from what I have seen so far...its so much better than the previous 3DS.....So, what are some games that really show off the capabilities of those 3D visuals?

Resident evil 4
RE4 isnt on 3DS lol

Your best bet Is Resident Evil Revalations its like a early ps3 game when you look at it graphically and the 3D looks good plus you have an option in the ingame menu to increase the depth beyond what the slider will do.

^I wish RE4 was on the 3DS lol

But the 3D that impressed me are;

Kid Icarus uprsing
Star fox 3D
The sega 3D arcade games. Any game that uses primary sprites only, look really good with 3D on

Kid Icarus was pretty good 3D its just the lousy controls not even the ccp helped it it could only be used for movment and not the reticule

I'm playing Gunstar Heroes 3D right now....I forgot how hard that game was....no wonder I used Game Genie on it on the Genesis!!

I rather enjoyed Gundam The 3D Battle - unlike the plasticky visuals of the preceding PSP Gundam Battle games, the robots look and sound januwine heavy metal machines of death. Even Acguy.

Monster Hunter (pick any) is also traditionally beautacious.

Kid Icarus: Uprising, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, LoZ: ALBW and the OoT and MM remakes, and Bravely Default + Bravely Second were really good games that I've played that have a really good use of the 3D feature of the 3DS :3

The first 3DS game that I ever played was Pilotwings Resort. It's a pretty meh game, but it TRULY shows what the 3DS could do (in my mind).
Another great game is OoT3D or MM3D. When I finally got my 3DS and got OoT3D with it, let me tell you, the game really pulls you in. When you crawl through a tunnel, it truly feels like you are staring down a long tunnel.

Professor Layton! The scenery has a lot of depth and nice anti-aliasing. The cursor (magnifying glass) changes depth so it's always hovering in front of what you're at, which makes searching around feel more precise & tactile.

A lot of the "2D" art during puzzles and cutscenes even has adjustable depth, so you'll see hand-drawn scenes that look believably 3D. It seems to be a careful combination of multi-plane layering and depth-mapping, whereas most games only use one or the other. It took a couple games for them to really master their own techniques, but by Azran Legacy they got it down really well.
