Hacking 3ds flashcart(just a question not a discussion)

I don't like to have 30 boxes of games following me whenever i leave so i like flashcarts. If i was to buy a 3ds flashcart right now (eg.:r4i gold) that supports ds mode but not 3ds mode would i need to buy another flashcart when they hack the 3ds mode or would it be just a software update?

Maybe, we don't know that yet.
But i think that we are gonna need to buy a new one.

You will probably wait a long time, if you wait for 3DS mode.

Anyway, there's also the chance of a CFW, so you might not even need a 3DS mode flashcard.

The R4iDS is so cheap anyway.
$10 -15, even if you had to buy a second one to run 3DS games should it ever come, you're realistically only spending the amount equivalent to 2 or 3 games.

Get the R4iDS now so you can play now, and not wait around forever.

Curious, what game is listed when you play on the r4 under activity log? And what is listed for the supercard?

no the card would need fast AES support (or whatever the 3DS cards use).

I think an hardware mod is more likely. I am 99,9% certain there will be no software hack. I also think a 3DS flashcard can only copy a existing game (homebrew or modified games won't work on flashcards) .
