Well, the 3ds screens are small and at a low resolution... New smartphone's screens are big... Also they have high resolution and nice colors, so you can enjoy the games better then 3ds console...

I just saw your post, I was late to the party XD, also my guess is that you don't have to carry around a 3ds which makes life a little easier

I dont get the hype it will not run good for years we cant even have a proper n64 emu but yet people dream of 3ds on smartphone...

Developers complained it was hard to program form the n64, I've have never heard that from the 3ds

I'm pretty sure the reason why N64 emulation is still not perfect has more to do with the unique hardware the console used.

One problem with that.

Original 3DS Top Screen Size: 3.53 Inches
Original 3DS Bottom Screen Size: 3.02 Inches

The largest screen size thus far in mainstream phones: 6.5 Inches (iPhone XS Max)

So, with the absolute largest screen size, and going with the original 3DS sizes (going with XL would make this point even bigger), 6.5 inches is going to cover exactly the same as both screens.

Emulation of the N64 doesn't compare to the 3DS. The 3DS system itself and it's hardware is already pretty well documented, there's a lot to build form. The N64 is a very complex system, and it's waaaaay harder to reverse engineer it. That's why N64 emulation isn't good opposed to other consoles like Wii U, or handhelds, like GBA, etc.

That was not the point ....what i mean is emulating 3ds is pointless since it is cheap to buy and easy to hack why would you want to run 3ds game on phone at 9fps...

Don't we all have 3DS' here? I don't see the point of this at all.
?? - I take it you've been financing the author of this software without knowing what he was making then?
What's the point of making any emulator when you can buy the hardware relatively cheap at a pawn shop? ....What's the point of climbing a mountain?
Because it's there. ;)

I'm not able to work but I didn't try too hard to be honest I also really don't see the need for this lmao

Just putting this out there, I take my phone out with me far more often then I take my 3ds(never.)
Having emulators on the phone adds quite a bit of accessibility/portability for those who can actually tolerate touchscreen controls.

More emulation options will always be good towards preserving these games after Nintendo has abandoned them all. The low end hardware Nintendo put into 3ds consoles will not likely last the way that older consoles have.

I get what you mean, I should have been more clear when I said what I did, I don't see the need for it right now.
