3DS Custom/Regular Themes Not Working

Custom themes didn’t work when I tried installing them with Anemone. I tried installing the theme(s) in both Shuffle and Single mode and when I power on/power off the 3DS, it’s still the default, white theme. Yes, I’ve already tried deleting the exdata in the SD card and resetting it and even that doesn’t work. I believe I saw this fix on the Anemone GitHub page.

I’ve also tried applying default color themes for shuffling and during the process, I got an error pop up. I can apply one coat lot theme but once I power on/power off the system, it reverts back to the default theme. What’s the problem here?

This is an old thread but I wanted to share the fix for anyone else having this problem.
Enable 'game patching' from luma .
To go to luma screen.. hold select and power on. Then select enable game patching.
