Before i continue this is my first post also I'm not really that smart at 3ds hacking so I'm sorry if i don’t understand you so please leave your answers detailed and tell me if im leaving something out.

Hello I was turning on my 3ds and and then when i saw my splash this error occurred

Processor: Arm11 (core 0)
Exception type: prefetch abort
Fault status: Debug event
Current process: menu (0004003000008F02)

This has never happened before and the 3ds was working fine like 3 hours ago. Also Gm9 works perfectly and when i press A+R+L+ Dpad up it also works but I didn’t update my 3ds. So please help.

firmware and luma version? I'm using a splash screen as well, and I've never encountered any issues, but I also always stay updated.

Check the sd card. Try Luma on the ctrnand, the splash screen will work without the SD card if you do it right. See if it crashes.

I don't recall where the splash screen is placed on the nand, but I think either luma updater or the ctrnand luma script transfers the splash screen along with the boot.firm. I'd check the sd card first.

Did you test your micro SD card with h2testw before? If not do it (copy everything to pc, then test) , could be the fake card messing/corrupting Luma boot files.

that part is not important that happened months ago but i already fixed it.
Of course it's important. The error message indicates something is wrong. If you are unable to update your system, then that means something else is wrong that is probably related. I'm not even sure exactly how you would "reset your system via gm9", but if you did something strange and unconventional, then that might also cause something to go wrong.

If you are expecting a 5-second solution here then it seems we past the point where you could expect that. If you're "not really that smart at 3ds hacking", who are you to say what is and is not important?

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless

the booty boogie from (once again) the donkey kong country cartoon could also be a good song to sing while playing sea of thieves
