I can confirm that it does. (I'm using N3DS, doodlebomb, 11.4 without CFW)
All inputs are working. (The circle pad is set to arrow keys using JoytoKey, and the c-stick to some letters or mouse movement, so that's how I know those work.)

I may be able to help, depending on what you mean. Do you mean "working" as in responding on vJoy? Or are you wanting to bind them to keyboard input (i.e. arrow keys)? [for which you'd use JoytoKey]

By the way, leave all of the boxes checked in config. I disabled the Z axis...es? axii? ...the Z axis and the Rz axis, and the circle pad (and c-stick) stopped working. Just a warning to... people.
Don't mess with those. It takes a while to fix (or to figure out how to).
I want to bind them to the keyboard, actually. JoytoKey doesn't make sense, either. Nonetheless, I just want my Circle Pad working.

I'm not sure whether this has already been asked, or if this is even possible. Can I use this as a Controller for DeSmuMe? Including touch controls? Any external programs needed?

Um well I honestly don't use desmume so I recommend you do it manually.
But can you help me though? Look, I managed to get the controls working for the main Desktop. But when I open DeSmuMe, the controls are all haywire and messed up. It actually malfunctions.

Hey, I'm trying to use the 3sd as a controller for a mame emulator, but only the joypad works, I tried to change the button configuration but when I press any button it doesn't recognize it

Is it set as 8-button or 16-button? It should be 16 iirc.
Try disconnecting it, resetting the entry in vJoy, reconnecting it, and setting it to 16-button when it makes a new entry. I think that's what made the joypad work for me (and yes, I know that that's an inverse issue).

Oh, and I found that the joypad actually inputs left when moved all the way to the right for one game in particular. It's probably an issue with the game, though. It wasn't exactly high-quality.

Hello everyone. The nickname's Axonic. I've used 3DS Controller a long time ago, and just yesterday (on my b-day) I was finally able to use it after so long.

I really love this homebrew app! It's very useful, especially for people like me who don't have an actual controller for their PC.
The app works fine, though it definitely isn't perfect. Sometimes my controls will get delayed and stuff like that, but I don't blame the app for these kinds of stuff. Plus, they don't happen very often, so there's no point in complaining about that. One issue I did have though is that my New 3DS XL's ZL and ZR buttons don't work with the app. I set up vJoy to have +16 buttons and I even set them up on the PC's 3DSController.ini file, but nothing's working.

Despite that, my real question is: can I use 2 or more 3DS's as well? Me and my brother have our own 3DS's, and we'd love to be able to play PC games with them rather than having one player use the keyboard while the other uses their console.

This one's optional: can I use 3DS Controller on an Android device? I don't really play Android games a lot. I'm just curious to know.

Hey man! That's some great stuff!

After some problems, I managed to get it working both on my laptop and PC.
Just FYI I did it on a 2DS.

It started working after following these steps:

- I've changed the port from the default 8889 one to 8888.
- I've closed most of the background programs like Steam, Origin, GDrive, OneDrive etc. etc.
(left chrome opened and some other stuff that doesn't really need net connection)

I'm not sure if both of those helped or just one. I think it's more related to some background programs as changing the port alone didn't seem to do it for me.

Anyway works pretty much flawlessly (tested for around 10 mins while playing hearthstone :P)
Also managed to get circle pad working as a mouse.
Looks like all the settings work with no issues.

Good stuff!

edit: After playing for some time I noticed few issues.

1. Sometimes the screen won't turn on and I can go to HOME and CLOSE the app but the screen is still OFF.
2. I can turn SLEEP on and off and the app still works after that but after waking up the 2DS the screen backlight turns ON.
3. I can't mange to get the TAP to CLICK option to work. Everything is fine in settings etc A to CLICK works but TAP to CLICK does not.
