On September 7th of this year, my new 3ds XL found itself in a puddle overnight.
I've opened it up and cleaned it since then, sun-drying it for around 3 days before opening it up, taking it apart, cleaning the pieces with isopropyl alcohol as I took them out, and putting it back together. A few ribbon cables were slightly hard to re-insert, and that may have had an affect on them, both are circled in the attached image. Most notably, a piece of plastic (if that's what they're coated in?) may have been nicked off from the circle pad's ribbon cable. After this, I stopped on the project for a while as it wouldn't turn on still.
On the 28th of that month I bought a new battery and swapped out the original battery, however it didn't help with booting.
Yesterday, I opened it up to try to fix the input of a zif connector, circled in red, and I left it to charge for a few hours, yet it still won't boot.
I believe that's the whole story so far. The original attached images were taken with a webcam, apologies for the low quality, a new picture has been added.
Is there anything I'm missing with fixing it, do I need any new components, or is it doomed?
