Hacking 3DS CFW Modding

Hi everyone, I'm new to all of this modding especially for the 3ds, my ds is on Ver 11.9.0-42E, just going to get straight to the point but is it possible to hack my 3ds so that I'm able to play Pokemon Sun/Moon and omega ruby and sapphire roms?

And my 3ds version is okay to do it with? I've heard some good things about luma?

Most 3DS versions should be good to softmod on. Simply follow Plailect's 3DS Hacks Guide (DO NOT SKIP ANY STEPS) and you should be fine.

so out of the guides which one should I use? Seedminer or the all versions ntrboot?
I don't have a flashcart all I have is an sd card, so im guessing I use seedminer?

Then do seedminer. Follow 3ds.guide and you are fine

Another quick questions, I've finished all the homebrew and everything and I've installed pokemon omega ruby, if I update it will I get banned?

You can be banned. But the chance getting banned on the 3ds is very low.
