I recently bought a 3ds (European version) and I only have a few games at the moment.
Considering I've finished just about all of them and I can't really cough up 30$+ per 3DS game I decided I would buy a cart so I could play DS games on my 3DS.

I was looking for a cart that had around 4GB and has the cheat function (I want to get a few pokemon games but the wifi events are over so I can't get all the legendary pokemon.) Other than that I really don't care, I hear there's some slow motion function but that doesn't really grab my attention.

Also if you wouldn't mind providing me a link to a legit seller that could post to australia and maybe list the pros and cons of the cart that'd be awesome.

    Thanks again.

SD(HC) cards are what determine the amount of data you can store...

As far as sellers go, I can't help you, I bought mine from a neighboring state so I got lucky, but I used RealHotStuff. Generally the cart websites will list verified sellers. Or you could check this gbatemp affiliated site: http://shoptemp.net/

So many links, I'm looking at paying around 20$ish for a card, I'm thinking of r4i gold. Do you know any good sellers around/that post to australia.
