I think that card's a fake.

the sticker of genuine r4isdhc only include :www.r4isdhc.com” and “www.R4I-GOLD.com ”
while yours has ".cn" at the end

no he just means the original r4 never had an official successor....just a bunch of clones/derivatives, some good and some bad....now the better derivatives are being cloned....its a vicious cycle

It's all a bit shady.
The original R4 team disappeared after half a year (http://www.r4ds.com/).
Then serveral successors came out, like the R4 SDHC and the R4i SDHC (http://r4i-sdhc.com). Maybe there were some clones between them.
R4iSDHC is a second "company"/team by the R4i-SDHC team (http://r4isdhc.com). They probably thought that they can make more money this way.
Then appeared serveral other companys under the name "R4 SDHC" and "R4i SDHC". Maybe they are from the team, too. Maybe the bought the blueprints. Maybe they are someone else, including

I have the same card as you and I get "can't open_dsmenu.dat" as well. Can you please tell me how you got it to work?
