Notice the console in question, which is the DS. Flash "9, 10 or 11" would still run perfectly fine on a 3DS.
The problem is you can't port something you don't have the source, the SDK, or any tools for.
I was talking purely from a specs-wise perspective - I thought it was made clear that Adobe no longer fools around with mobile platforms and they are unwilling to release their code to the public.

Interesting. I'll have to review the specs sheet again, I was convinced that the port doesn't support 4-part jacks (ones that do allow a microphone). Apparently I have to stand corrected.

In that case, there's no reason *not* to have voice chat on the system.

Everyone makes mistake foxi. Its just you didnt know

The 3DS supports headsets with mic, albeit it *must* be on a single jack. I think stereo jacks have two stripes; a mic headset must have 3 stripes, two for stereo left and right and third for mic.

I've had no luck getting any of the phone ones to work on it though.

I tried a crappy one that was delivered with my mobile, too and it didn't work (but I'm not sure that the microphone works).

If you can find one of those official ones though, go for it. It also has a play/pause/track button, so it lets you operate 3DS Sound app even while closed/in the bag or something.
