I have made a banner, 3d cgfx file.
I however do not know how to assign the banner to a .cia file. Download links are down, there are no tutorials on youtube, does anybody have suggestions?

Does this relate to homebrew? If so, its very easy and doesn't require unpacking the CIA file, as long as you've got the source.

There should be a file somewhere called "banner.png" or something similar. Edit this file using Photoshop or GIMP, save it, and compile it to a new CIA file. Be sure to remove the old one first.

To replace 3d banner in banner.bin

They dont use cgfx format anymore though, see if you can get it in bcmdl format instead

Actually, cgfx and bcmdl are the exact same file format, just a different extension. So just rename your .cgfx to .bcmdl

You might even be able to extract and rebuild the cia with just that banner tool and not have to use those other programs
