3DS banned in 2025

Not that this is actually important now, since there are nothing to do with a 3ds on the Nintendo servers, but I went online and, out of curiosity, tried to acess my friends list, only to find a code 002-0121, meaning they have banned my console. The last time I went online was some 3 or 4 months ago playing some Mario Kart CTPG and also trying to see if it was possible to do anything online in a pkmn game (it wasn't, of course), so it happened in these few months. I suppose it might have some connection to the Switch2 bans, probably some telemetry that was send and processed only lately in a batch or something like that.

I think you will find that error code has a number of possible causes and there is little reason to leap to the conclusion that a console ban is the most likely one.

Have you been using Pretendo on your 3DS at all?

Funny thing... I installed Pretendo sometime ago, followed all the instructions about Luma, but never actually used it. Now I went to see Luma settings again and they reverted to unchecked. Never thought it would have anything to do with Pretendo. Anyway, thank you guys for your answer.
