Hardware 3DS Backlight problem

Hi,
I bought a 3ds online that was listed as "not charging". I repaired the charging port and now I can use it.
The problem I have with it is that the top screen is really brighter than lower screen. I cleaned all contacts, no changes. So then I measured backlight voltages : 11v for the lower screen, and 18v for the top one.
I did measure with the brightness setting 5.
Also, when I change brightness, only the lower screen changes, the top one is stuck beyond full brightness...
Also, the ribbon cable is good because I did try to put the main board in a working 3DS and I was having the same problem, so the issue is with the main board.
Did you ever face an issue like that ? Do you have any ideas on how to fix it ? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I might try that, but if the nand was corrupted, wouldn't the issue disappear when in the Luma3ds or godemode9 menu ? Sorty I didn't mention that i've done that

The top screen brightness being stuck at max setting in GodMode9 when using the volume switch would point to it being hardware issue.
Since @CreusFT shared about his similar not too long ago, we can wait and ask him if CTRTransfer(s) worked for him.

Esactly as you said, the brightness is still stuck when using the volume switch in GM9...
I will try CTRTransfers anyway

You have PMIC failure on your motherboard (it's the chip circled in Red in the picture below). There are 3 power rails for the top screen backlight that control the brightness, you can measure it easily on the top side of the board, one or two of the 3 capacitors (C181, C182 and C183) will be shorted to ground. Fixing the board requires replacing PMIC chip

I tested those fuses and they are not shorted to ground but only a few ohms so nearly shorted, I couldn't find this anywhere thanks
