Hacking 3ds as a method to dump ds demo's

how possible would it be to make a modified twlfirm to dump ds demo roms (<XXXX>.srl) after all we have modified twlfirms that let us access carts read carts (probably write them too) and we have ways to write to a sd card using modified twlfirm (exa. twloader and it writing .ini files to sd from cart).

of course it would likely only packet dump and have to be assembled later on pc almost certainly, but whats the possibility of it being able to be done?

TWLoader doesn't run in TWL mode, nor is it a custom TWLFIRM.

Pretty sure TWLoader (at least the nds-bootstrap side of it) runs in TWL mode.

nds-bootstrap acts as a bridge between CTR and TWL. TWLoader runs entirely in CTR mode.

If you're referring to DS demo cartridges, you can use GodMode9 to dump the ROM image directly.
If you're referring to DSiWare downloadable demos (were there any?), those can probably be copied out of the TWLN partition using GodMode9.

For the actual DLP child for e.g. a demo kiosk, it should be possible to extract it from the demo cartridge using various tools. This requires a ROM dump, which can be obtained using GodMode9.
