Homebrew 3DS and last.fm scrobbling

Hello,
I did some research about this, but I didn't seem to find anything that does scrobbling to last.fm.
I would like to make something like this, but it is really complicated to me. There are inumerous last.fm scrobblers for android, so that makes me think it is not that complicated to "port" to 3DS. I'm not really into coding stuff yet.

If there is something like that available already, please point me there, I didn't find anything. :x

This would require an entirely new music player to be developed since a background Scrobbler would be impossible to make.

Nope. Not without the source to the actual Music app.
