I was on NeoGaf, and I came across a thread with a list of upcoming 3DS game dates. There's a lot of third party support for the 3DS, I was surprised just by looking at the list and comparing my thoughts to what other people have been saying like there's no games for this system that interests them. There are incredible amount of good games for the 3DS to come.
Credit to BDGAME from NeoGaf, this is his work purely.

I don't think the USA has a release month for Tales of the Abyss. Where did they get November from.

Kid Icarus: Uprising (USA) No actual date has been set apart from "this holiday", it could get delayed as Nintendo has Mario Land the same month and has talked about spreading their games out so there is like one big release a month.
Batman Missing, presumed cancelled.
BloodRayne: The Shroud Development has supposedly been "put on hold".
Conduit 3DS Not actually properly announced. They've made a demo just to see what they can do and they even said it could become a none Conduit game.
Contra Missing, presumed cancelled.
de Blob 3DS THQ has cancelled this series altogether
Ninja Gaiden Not even in development yet
Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney We won't see this in English until 2013!
Super Smash Bros. This'll be out 2013 at the earliest, they're not starting it until they've done with Kid Icarus and its being done alongside Wii U version so not exactly got many people to work on it!
Z.O.E 3 D S Again I doubt this'll make next year.

EDIT:
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns (13 EUA) 3DS version isn't coming out in Europe, its a US exclusive...that's been delayed.

So yeah a lot of these games will make those dates but a lot wont.

Well if I recall correctly, it's doing better than the DS did at launch in terms of games

DS had no competition when it was released.

Read the post again.

Even then I think even the hardware sales are doing better than when the DS first launched and four months later which I think is impressive considering there is a lot more choice for consumers and that the market isn't as strong in April when the 3DS launched than when the DS launched in November!

DS had no competition? Back then it seemed like the PSP was going to take the handheld crown, I think it launched with impressive sales in in some regions its launch sales doubled what the DS did.

I thought that Driver was also put on hold...
Nope, Ubisoft are still supporting the 3DS seeing their games sell well on it.

Well, I still have Bit.Trip, Mario Land, Cave Story and Nano Assault etc. to look forward to.

Slightly concerned it's falling into this trap

This. I do hope it doesn't end up like that.

I fervently wish (hey, universe. yeah, you dumb prick, take full note) that the 3DS makes a shitload of sales this holiday, and that all the other good games coming this year surprise us and everybody else, and that those companies who boycotted the 3DS realize that they just missed an the opportunity of a lifetime, and that the titles they put on hold fails miserably. except those titles who were delayed for a very good reason (yeah, MGS3D, i'm looking at you. you better have a good reason, like upping the framerates for one).

I kinda didn't want their support on it... almost.

Sure they have some good games now and then. Maybe better and more games from them in the future, but I hate
how just as one company, pull out so much shovelware (could be the majority of shovelware) when they could use that time making them to make good games.

And these are the same people working on the wii u online corrected?

Oh yea, good lineup.

Super Mario 3D Land - Fix it, November 2nd, got it from the Gamestop store itself when i pre-ordered it
Probably just a placeholder date. Never take anything Gamestop says at face value, cause its usually just speculation.

Nintendo will be taking any money I have over the 4th quarter of this year- Skyward Sword, Super Mario 3d land, Mario Kart 3ds, Kid Icarus Uprising, Sonic Generations and Doctor Lautrec (as well as the E-Shop updates of Metroid 2 and Super Mario Land 2) are sure indicators that my family are going without christmas presents this year!
Then there's the early part of 2012 to look forward to, rumour has it that Luigi's Mansion 2 is out in early Feb for PAL regions, with Paper Mario 3d following hot on it's heels.

Has Rising Star games given up on us? We got no Rune Factory 3, Rune Factory Oceans still has no PAL release date and Harvest Moon 3DS has no PAL release date.
