Homebrew 3DNes -> 3DS homebrew ports?

The online 3DNes project allows people to play custom skinned NES games in 3D. It looks amazing.

Any slight tiny possible chance that these could be ported to 3DS Homebrew? Or have I been drinking too much crazy juice?

I think this is how Nintendo should have done VC games on the 3DS. Giving us an option like this would be cool. Are there any opensource projects like this? I doubt you're gonna convince someone to write something like this from scratch.
