Hey all

Went to fire up my 360 slim this evening and it was a green light for about 5 seconds and then it went red. I'm not really sure what's happened because I haven't turned it on in a few months. Is there anything I can do to remedy my situation? I'm not getting any video out at all so I can't see anything on my TV.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

More like 10-20 minutes.

Me Falcon RGH has a similar PSU problem where it can't provide stable currents or enough? to successfully boot and provide power after it's been plugging in for a while.
Un and replugging it always solves the issue for me.

Just tried that and no such luck :/

I'm not, honestly I was looking at getting a modded 360 but at this point I had my launch 360 red ring and now the slim doing the same shit. I'm almost thinking just playing the games I wanna play on emulator and calling it good. I've had terrible luck

Sorry bro. Have you thought about tearing it down to have a look inside.??. I've had experience with one caused by some bloated capacitors.

If you're ever looking for a modded 360 I'd recommend going for jasper and newer because they are significantly less likely to RROD. Not sure how effective slim modding is but if it's just as good as phat modding then of course go for a modded slim of some kind.
