I am new to the 3 in 1 scene and just got my 3 in 1 yesterday. I run a R4DS with 2 gig SD card that has worked great.

I have used NDStation 1.1 to convert all my wanted GBA games to NDS format.

The problem is some of them won't save.

I am able to save for instance on Riviera and Castlevania Circle of the Moon.

I am not able to save on Sword of Mana or Warioland 4.

I will get a message like "save corrupted" when I try to save in these games.

The game runs fine and I have no had 0 problems playing the games just the save is the problem.

I have a fully updated R4DS card if that matters version 1.11.

Did you patch the SRAM with gbata 0.7 before you used NDStation on it, btw there is NDStation 1.2.1 now but i've had issues with it doubling the size of the rom.

No I assumed that NDStation did everything to the rom that was needed I will try using this Gbata thing.

Is it normal for some of my roms to not require that patching?

Cause I put them all into Gbata and only some would allow me to patch.

Yep, thats normal, a few games already use SRAM saving, where others support Flash, or EEPROM type saves, if its not SRAM then GBATA will convert it to SRAM.

Usually if you want to know what save type it is, open GBATA, open the ROM, then at the bottom of the Header Viewer there is a "save type" which shows what kind it is.

I just patch the files and use Rodulphs 3in1 expansion pack tools, works great and you only patch the ROM once no matter what expack tools version you use. With NDStation you have to repatch the game everytime a new version comes out, like the one now with compression in 1.2.1. Its a pain to do to 70+ roms
