2ds touchscreen doesn't work with ds games

for some reason when I play ds games on my 2ds the touch screen doesn't work? it works only with sonic classic collection but not with any other ds games, the touch screen is responsive with 3ds games and the home menu though. can't find anything about my problem

Did you even calibrate the touch-screen in the System Settings?

Does it not work at all, or are your inputs just not being processed properly? As the post above said, please calibrate your touchscreen, and see if that solves the problem.

^ as far as I'm aware it doesn't work at all with most of my ds games (except for the sonic game like said) no matter how hard I press the screen

nope, 3ds games work perfectly fine

I have this problem too, except its on my 3ds XL, if we have the same issue the touchscreen IS responsive but its stuck in the top left corner of the screen. Any help is appreciated I literally cannot find help ANYWHERE.
